Parent &Toddler Swim Class
Ages 6 months - 3 years
We believe your first experiences in water should be joyful, safe, and deeply bonding. We aim to introduce infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment in a way that fosters a lifelong love for the water, strengthens the parent-child bond, and establishes a foundation of water safety and confidence.
Our Yeti Parent & Toddler Lessons cover essential skills to ensure comfort, safety, and fun in the water:
- Water Familiarization: We encourage comfort and confidence through gentle introductions, teaching basic water entry and exit techniques.
- Buoyancy and Floating: Toddlers experience buoyancy with parental support on their backs and fronts, learning to float with guidance.
- Breath Control: We practice blowing bubbles and playful underwater exhalations, teaching toddlers to hold their breath briefly.
- Water Safety Awareness: Basic safety rules are introduced, emphasizing the importance of never entering the water without a parent and teaching toddlers to reach for the wall or a floating object if they fall in.
- Water Play and Songs: Fun water play activities and songs keep toddlers engaged and excited, using toys and floating objects to enhance the learning experience and sensory exploration.
