Short-Term Goals (First 3 Months)

  • Enroll 30 adult monthly athletes.

  • Attract 10 drop-in athletes.

  • Establish competitive youth team with 30 members.

  • Provide swimming lessons to 5 adults.

  • Mentor 50 children through Swim School.

  • Conduct one Place-Based Aquatic education class.

  • Host one community event that celebrates water safety and fitness.

 

Mid-Term Goals (6 Months)

  • Increase monthly athlete enrollment to 40 adults.

  • Welcome 20 drop-in adult athletes.

  • Expand competitive youth team with 50 members.

  • Expand adult swimming lessons to 9 participants.

  • Mentor 75 children through Swim School.

  • Conduct two Place-Based Aquatic Education classes per month.

  • Host two community events that celebrate water safety and fitness.

  • Launch Alaska Youth Aquatic Ambassadors Program with two ambassadors.

 

1-Year Goal

  • Achieve 60 adult monthly subscriptions.

  • Accommodate 40 drop-in adult athletes.

  • Expand competitive youth team with 75 members

  • Mentor 100 children in Swim School.

  • Organize six community events that inspire a love for the water.

  • Establish a competitive youth team.

  • Enable the adult team to compete at national-level events.

  • Conduct three Place-Based Aquatic Education classes per month.

  • Host three community events that promote water safety, fitness, and community bonding.

 

3-Year Goal

  • Surpass 100 adult monthly subscriptions.

  • Attract 100 adult drop-in members.

  • Expand competitive youth team with 100 members.

  • Mentor 200 children in Swim School.

  • Host 24 community events that foster water safety, fitness, and community spirit.

  • Extend our reach to rural Alaska, offering monthly intensives on water safety and cold-water survival, swim school, and competitive swimming programs.

  • Celebrate our youth team's victory at the 10 and under state championships.

  • Send an adult team of 20 to national competitions.

  • Four Aquatic Ambassadors have passed on the love and knowledge of swimming to two others.

 

5-Year Goal

  • Sustain 100 adult monthly subscriptions.

  • Attract 100 adult drop-in members.

  • Mentor 200 children in in Swim School.

  • Host 24 community events that celebrate water safety, fitness, and community connections.

  • Conduct two Place-Based Aquatic Education classes per week.

  • Launch family-oriented swim adventures that unite and inspire.

  • Increase participation of rural Alaskans in competitive swimming.

 

10-Year Goal

  • Halve the drowning rates in Alaska.

  • Maintain 100 adult monthly subscriptions.

  • Continue serving 100 adult drop-in members.

  • Mentor 200 children in Swim School monthly.

  • Sustain 24 annual community events that epitomize our dedication to water safety, fitness, and community cohesion.

  • Conduct two Place-Based Aquatic Education classes per week.

  • Continue to expand our outreach in rural Alaska, offering monthly intensives on water safety and cold-water survival, swim school, and competitive swimming programs.

  • Win state championships with our youth team.

  • Win national championships with our adult team.

  • Build our own Aquatic Facility
